Well me and my wife have had ball pythons for a long time now we breed and rescue ball pythons. I just want to add to my loveing snake family and get something that gets pretty big so i was thinking a RTB was the way to go. I have experience with retics and burms so i can handle a large snake how ever i have never had a boa always pythons let me know what you think please thanks

If you want one, have the space and know their needs then go for it.

Are you talking about a true red tail?

I've only had BCI, but since I'm partial to boas I say go for it of you're ready for it :)

Is there a big difference between the two?

Bci Colombians are referred to as red tails. The main differences is pattern, color, price and size.

Tbh 85% of the "rtb's" for sale are not bcc's at all just plain old bci's.
