Im going to begin building my retics adult cage soon. The only problem is theres no decent plans on the Internet! I'd like to build a 6'x3'x20" cage for her, she's a Bali so she will fit well in that size cage. I'm thinking of doing a frame of 2x2s with 3/4 plywood walls, id also like to use linoleum for the inside lining. PLEASE if anyone has recently built a large reptile cage post plans. Pictures would be great and information on heating would be great as well. Like I said I have a general idea of what I want to build but any input at all would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Just build a simple box with a door. I did all my builds with high quality Oak plywood. I Use a piano hinge to allow the door to fully open and use window locks to hold it shut. I use radiant heat panels on thermostats for heat in all my vivs. You can use soffit vents to allow air flow. Just make sure you seal it really well and let it air out for a while. After it a few days plug the heat in with no snake in the viv and test it out for a few days, then insert snake.

Yea if you just search python cages you get some good results. Go look at boaphile cages or vision to get a base to go from. You can use malamine, wood etc. there are plenty of ideas online just google
