I am looking for a spreadsheet to help me track feeding, shedding etc... Does anyone have one they wouldn't mind sharing?

Thanks in advance!

I believe there's an online resource for this already, completely free. I think it's called iHerp??? I could be wrong, though.

I started building a spreadsheet but then I found iHerp.com and use it.

I refer to it often when posting or asking questions. I try to add a lot of stuff but always record feeding, sheds and defections. Sometimes we miss when a snake clouds up pre-shed but mostly we catch them so I know how long a given snake takes from blue to shedding.

I keep paper records. I found a supplier on Fauna who was selling feeding/shed cards. I bought a bunch in several colors to color code by gender and venomous/non-venomous. I just find it easier to jot down notes on paper and have it in a big binder than use a program that would require me to figure it out, lol. I'm not the best with computers.

I have one that I made up...tracks feeding attempts, the date, prey item, prey weight, snake weight, shed date and defecation date and has a section for notes. It's an excel (xlsx) file but I could not figure out how to upload it. I could e-mail it though.

I do the same, I track feedings, sheds, defecations, and weight. Its easier for me to have everyone's chart in a binder that I can look up no problem.

I'm not really Excel-savvy. :-\

I just don't want to depend on the internet to record something. I hate actually writing things.

I'm not either but after I played with it for a little bit I got something I liked. I just prefer making my own because I can make it exactly how I want it. For all of my new snakes, I just use an index card. Not the prettiest thing but it does the same function. There's also record keeping software out there you can use. I looked at one awhile back and decided it wasn't for me. I like having a hard copy and not have to worry about anything going wrong with the computer.

A hard copy would work great! Anyone else have something you could E-mail me to print?

I have a huge dry erase board in my reptile room that I have hanging on the wall. I track feeding poop sheds cleaning and keep a misc section for soakings and weights . I also have a section that has temperature requirements , humidity levels , age, breed etc...Once a month worth of info is on there we transfer it to a notebook. Iherp is great for tracking , my phone doesnt let me though. :)

iHerp : Online Reptile Software, Husbandry, Community, Tracking, Breeding, Snakes, and More! (http://www.iherp.com/Welcome.aspx)

It's free, easy to use, and let's you keep track of nearly anything that you could imagine. I'd be lost without Iherp.

I use iHerp and the calander on my iPad mostly. I know iTunes released a new pet tracking app awhile ago, I can't remember exactly what it was called, Pet something. But since I've been happy enough with what I'm using, I never downloaded it and can't say whether it's good or not. I have heard from a few people who did download it and they mostly liked it. Seems like another system I've heard wonderful things about is called "Degei" I think. I've never checked that one out for myself either. I believe it is incompatible with Macs and Apple stuff.

A couple people mentioned iHerp. I signed up but can't seem to find anything yet. I'll keep hunting.

That's the closest I've ever gotten to wanting an iPhone. Lol I'll check the Android Market. Thanks for the tip!

I use my own Excel spreadsheet, but Serpentrack is a great online source as well.
