Here we are with the FINALS of Pythons! It's been VERY close for ALL the rounds and we've got a shocker I think here in this category! The amazing GTP was knocked out by the reticulated python.

All i have to say is Diamonds are hands down the most beautiful snakes in the world. The only reason Retics made it to the finals is because of all the different morphs. Diamond Pythons don't need morphs to be beautiful they are perfect the way they are.

Within the next few years maybe I'll pick up a nice Diamond Python.

If I come across a nice looking super dwarf retic it would be hard to refuse, but they don't sell them in my state, so I don't see them at that expo I go to every few months...

I think many morphs and "normal" bps are very pretty, and I don't mind their laziness. You may not be able to see them during the day, but during sleepless nights you get a show! I definitely prefer retics to bps, though.

Exactly. Mine isn't even lazy. It's the fact that he wakes up at 1am that would leave you to believe he is, but he comes out of his hides regularly and covers a lot of ground overall. I know because his substrate is always pushed around, and I'm a night person. lol

To each their own. Imagine how boring the world would be if we all like the same things. I myself like Retics just not more than Diamonds. Just for the record Black and White Diamonds are the most beautiful snakes in the world IMO. The yellow are in the top ten IMO. Here's a nice B&W.

Huh? Calico hasn't been proven to be genetic yet in retics, currently the only cow morph out there is goldenchild. Kinda hard to tell what's going on when they're usually born blue eyed leucisitics and only develop spots as they age.

Actually, that was my first thought too! Someone accidentally put another color in the gene pool! Heehee

However, that doesn't keep me from thinking it's still a pretty animal in an unusual sort of way. I like it :D
