Cheers everyone,

My name is Kyle, I am new to this forum. Well, actually I am new to registering to this forum. I've been 'paroozing' around here for a while, and I've decided to join the community. I've always had an affinity to reptiles, and exotic, or "show stopper" pets, (if you will.)

Right now I have:

0.1 B/W Band King (2months)
1.1 Pueblan Milks
1.0 Rosy Boa
0.1 Corn (She is so testy)

....And A cat...No One here cared about that, right?

They are all in sterilite containers, except for the King - She is on display in the living room. :) I've just acquired the Rosy Boa, I wonder if He is sick. He came from Craigs list...he looked a little off, but I couldn't bare the thought of sending that snake back to the home it was coming from, it was priced to move, there was feces, and urine, etc all through it's cage. I explained this to the previous owner and haggled the price down some more. - May have some sort of mild scale rot? I figured he'd have a better life with me even if he dies. He is puppy dog tame as well - which I think is a touch odd for a snake that I *believe* has been neglected. He is quarantine in a separate room till I can figure out what is going on (If anything) I will be posting pictures of him later with some questions that I hope a few of you can assist me with.

With that guys and gals I'll wrap it up, Included is a picture of the 2 milks, and the corn that does not want any friends. In fact I am so tired of being struck at by this thing, does anyone have any tips on getting her out? As soon as I touch her in the cage to remove it she squirms and begins to posture, shaking her tail, etc. It is very hard to get her out without being tagged. - I got home late last night, and she had pooped the cage, but I was too tired to deal with her, any of the other snakes would have got a clean cage, she had to wait till morning, lol. Anyway I'm rambling. I'll post more pictures when I get them, and I am really excited to be here, and thank you in advance for your hospitality.

~Kyle

Welcome to the forum.

When you go to take her out dip your hand in cold water and pick her up. This works for boidaes but I don't know about colubridaes.
