My Mean Old Rose hair.

Here is my mean *** huge rose hair tarantula. She is a little smaller than six inches fully stretched. Her 12 birthday is coming up soon.
Sorry the picks suck but my nikon wouldn't fit in the enclosure
She is a lot bigger than she looks in these pics!

I got her enclosure for 25 bucks from my local reptile pet store.
It even came with that fake skull!

Wow, I like that enclosure. She is very pretty. I have had several different species and the Chilean rose has always been my favorite. I would send her a little birthday hat. Oh and by the way have you ever rotated her food? Mine would take spells of mealworms and cockroaches and then the crickets.

I feed her whatever they have in the store whether it be crickets, or roaches.
I fed her half a pinky a couple weeks ago and it was awesome!

I have the sweetest rose hair that someone gave up, and the meanest red knee ever.
the others are all mostly decent except for the choco golden knee.
What's up with the "nice" ones being so mean?? lol
Maybe it's cuz they're old. Our red knee is ten i think.

I'm really digging that enclosure! It reminds me of old bubble gum machines.

I'm glad my rose hair is docile...being my first spider and how bad my fear of them are, I need a docile one. But I also handled her for a while before I bought her to see how comfortable I felt with her.
