My jag is growing fast too. Actually I am shocked at my baby jcps as well. One of them is getting big enough for fuzzy rats and they were only hatched at the end of May.
Thats quite the looker you got there.... The carpet isn't bad either ;)

Gorgeous carpet, wish my Spot would grow that fast. What's your feeding schedule like?

Thanks! No problems feeding ever, he now eats 2 rats (sometimes a rat and chick) every sunday.

Hey! First off, awesome looking jag, I love his coloring. My little girl looks alot like your '11 pictures, but I have and IJ. They are such awesome snakes, I am glad yours is calm. I have a question, I own a savannah monitor which means that I have all sorts of random prey items around. I would love to eventually feed my snake small chicks, but wouldn't that risk possibly turning your carpet off to rats? Just curious. If not, what other acceptable food items are there to offer carpets?

Thank you! he is a Jag x Jungle mix!
Trust me he wasn't Always calm, took him about 6 months before we could hold him without gloves and almost a year before he stopped nipping.
Took a lot of time and handling, a lot of bites as well :p
I feed Adrien a chick about once a month, sometimes a little more. And he still eats his rats no problem.
But I've been really lucky with Adrien, he has never since I've gotten him refused a meal, switching him from mice to rats even was no problem at all.
and he LOVES chicks.
I bet yours would too! I say give it a try, if your Carpet is as good an eater as Adrien, he will switch back no problems.
If not the worst that can happen is he stops eating for a little while, once he is hungry enough, he will eat a rat again. (have that problem with a Ball Python right now, eats once a month after switching from mice to rats, still healthy)
Hope this helped a bit!
