Here is the Quarter finals for the colubrids! We actually had a few close brackets in the first round but I think it'll be an even tighter race to get to the semi's! The python and venomous one will remain up for a couple more days due to it's lateness of the actual poll.

Milk snakes are king snakes....so vote kingsnakes.....
We can't have those weird little hog nose snakes beat the king of colubrids.....lol

I don't think the people voting actually know what some of these snakes look like.

Yeah and the group king snake (Lampropeltis) comprises of 50 or snakes.

Oh well, too bad so sad...hoggies win! hehehehe

I mean come on, personality wise they are hands down the best! Cute and loveable, and if they're in a bad mood, they just play dead! Cute ALL the time!!!

Jlassiter
08-20-12, 07:22 PM
In their normal form hoggies are dull in color. Yeah, there's some cool hoggie morphs and they play dead...lol

Kings are brilliant in color.....always!.....no morphs needed (although they have alot).

But I mean like Sinolan milk snakes.
I know milks are the same genus as kings.

Now don't get me wrong, I love pitch black snakes, but there's no way (IMO of course) that the Eastern Indigo is better looking than this!

I agree Kyle. Mandarins have a better "look" than indigos.

Then there's the noble look of a king.....lol

He got a good chew on you jaleely.

jaleely
08-21-12, 10:49 PM
That was only the first time he bit. The second time he did chew, and man did my hand swell! Both times i didn't know he was going to do it *lol* Well i should say, this pic he just slowly bit and i wasn't sure what he was doing before he opened his mouth. Second time i was holding him for a good five minutes while i cleaned out his cage and right before i put him back he chomped.

Anyway, hoggies sometimes don't have a lot of color, but they have amazing personalities, even if you get one with a "bad" personality.

I'm friends with the owners of extremehogs and these are some of their photos, for color you know!
I mean they're not blue, but they're pretty nice. I'll convince you all!

And for those that voted for this loveable beautiful critter, some fun pics.
