hi i have decided to buy a Nicaraguan boa and was wondering what breeders or shop i should buy from i am located at Toronto,Ontario, should i by from the u.s.a and pay a lot of shipping charges?:elvis:

I'm not so sure Boa constrictors of any subspecies are legal in Toronto. You might want to check your By-laws first. If they *are* legal, I always recommend checking Kijiji first - there are tons of snakes needing new homes on there every day.

Buying from the US in not necessary as Nics are fairlly common here. I agree with Todd about checking Kijiji first.

Any snake under 3 meters is legal...about 9 feet

Are you getting a nic as your first snake?
Go check out an expo or find some reputable online breeders that ship internationally.

kinda late, but if you havent got one yet try urban boa, Boas4You, Legend Boa, and ive read bad things about Port Credit Pets but they have a great selection and i believe they have cleaned up there act the last few years

Just be prepared for a nic as babies they have nasty attitudes I am dealing with that now. But they are so pretty its worth it!
