How to find snakes in your yard???

i have seen a couple garter snakes when i was little my dad is a construction worker and has a bunch of building materials allover the yard where should i look

Put out a few big pieces of plywood, or pallets somewhere along the edges of the property. Pieces of tin work well. MIght start attracting some snakes.

Put in a pond! That attracts frogs, which then will attract snakes.

The main thing is get off the couch, away from the keyboard and out in the bush. In general, the more time you spend herping, the more successful you will be at finding herps.

after it rains i find frogs in my front yard alot of them but there is some big rocks that i have lookd under and have found nothing
