That looked more like a Rock python i think than a Burmese. Which is worst yet because they are so much more aggressive.

It looks like a Burmese. African rock pythons have very different patterns than the Indian rock python or Burmese python. But the coloring of the head shows that it's a Burmese python. What I've noticed is that Indian rock pythons have a head that's different colored than the rest of the body, quite often. And the patterning on the sides is different than a Burm's, but this particular snake seems to have the Burmese python pattern. I may be wrong about my observations, but that's the differences I've seen between the two species.

What is the difference between an Indian rock python and an African rock python?

So if I went to India and caught an Indian Rock Python and put it in Africa, then it would be an African Rock Python.
