Just realized I haven't updated my collection pics :)
My first is a male leachie I named Stanley Steamer after the Gap Dragon in the Piers Anthony novels. Sitting at 130 grams with at least a year of growing to do still.

Second was a birthday present from my Dad after he fell in love with Cresties. She is a high contrast tricolour 99% pinstripe that I named Ginny. 37 grams and growing like a weed.

Dad went nuts and we all got Cresties from him for our birthdays, so my brother, his girlfriend and my Dad all have a female now, and I got a male for Dad for Fathers Day so we have quite the little group these days. Can't wait to see the hatchies when these kids grow up!

Thanks everyone, we love em! We chose the Cresties specifically because they were breeder holdbacks and part of the deal was that any babies get sold back to the breeder. We get the fun of babies with no worries over where they are going:)

Wow, very nice! Looks like they are on fire :P I went to the Expo in April and got to hold one for the first time, and totally fell in love with the female! I wanted one so bad but I had no money to spare :(

I was having a hard time choosing a name for him but he has a very dragon-like head with large lip scales and he just looks prehistoric, but he isn't fierce or mean, so a dragon who can only steam but not blow flame just seemed appropriate. I loved the Xanth books too Kaetlinv, so punny! Haven't read them since elementary school but they stuck in my head.

The geckos all come out just as it's getting dark, but he is the loudest crashing around his viv and sometimes you get to hear him make the growly leachie call. Too cool! :)

Beautiful leachie. It's always been a dream for me to own one. But they are very expensive if you want a nice Grande Terre.
what locale is yours?

Do you keep any gargoyles?

Mine is a Moro x Isle of Pines. I need to get a good headshot of him, but Nikon is slow to ship these days :(

I was tempted by Grande Terre, but they tend to be uniformly darker and I love his colours. He will shift from a pale green nearly white, to a strong green with pink blotches right in front of you.

Sorry, no gargs. Like them though :)

Thanks :)

The female my Dad just got (looks kind of greenish in that photo) fires up to be as dark as the others. Please nobody yell at me for calling her greenish:sorry: I know she isn't actually green.

Are you gonna sell all of the babies back to the breeder? If not I might be interested depending on when you get hatchlings.

Gorgeous leachie, they're my favorite gecko. That's why I have one, lol. Your cresties are so bright and pretty, as well!

I'm located in Canada so I doubt you would really want any of mine. You actually have easier access to quality cresties than I do. :)

As for the deal with their breeder, I think it will depend on what he wants to do but he has said he will take them all if we like. At any rate, these kids won't be ready to breed until spring. Thanks for the enquiry!

I was not aware you were in canada. Yes I can get higher quality cresties easier. I could have a nicer one than those sitting on my doorstep in the morning.

If you can have nicer ones by morning, then why did you say you were interested?

Because I would rather buy from someone that I have talked to before rrather than a breeder I have never met. You obviously love these animals and take care of them great so I would rather buy from you.

Wow, the markings on those cresties are stunning! I'm also jealous of your leachie.

I agree! Just as awesome is how they feel to handle. Soft like a chamois :)

Oh definitely! They are so soft, and so tolerant of being handled and poked, bless their hearts LOL.
