View Full Version : Peroxigard inplace of bleach...
I picked up a cleaner for my enclosures and surrounding areas called Peroxigard. It is used as a surface cleaner and disinfectant in Veterinary Hospitals and Animal Care Facilities and does not contain amonia. The active ingredient is accelarated hydrogen peroxide 0.5% wt. You spray the enclosure, let it sit for 5 mins. and wipe dry. Thats it! Plus..it has no odour.
Thought I'd share the find.
Where did you get it from and how much?
I purchased it at a vet clinic and it was $10.00 for a ready-to-use 1l spray bottle.
Kool - sounds like a great way to clean ..
I use a green bottle called BIO Surf .. from what i have been told its great to use for reptiles ..
The active ingredients are Ethanol .... 70.5% w/v and Chlorhexidine Gluconate .. 0.20% w/v ... supposably enviromentally friendly and will not cause any harm if ingested..
My onle litre bottle cost me 15$ THOUGH.. (very light smell)
Any one esle use this product??? I find it works very well
