been trying to get the collection back up since the fire. I think the tricolor monitor will take the place of my croc monitors for a while. I hope to get some more odatria soon though. Looking for pilbaras, gilleni, or storri.

I've never seen an anaconda on sand before. Keeps them nice and wet I assume. You feed him in cage?

I keep most of my snakes on sandy dirt just like monitors. Really helps with smell and offers as a hide. My hognoses love sandy dirt and the corn snakes occasionally tunnel. The sandy dirt keeps humidity up for my anaconda also. I feed her in the water bowl and she eats like crazy. I used to keep lots of green anacondas and sold them off when I moved. The dirt is the way to go compared to news papers.
