I'm fairly new to the reptile community, I started my own collection last year...

My husband has a retic and had a red-tail (who has passed). And while I liked handling the young retic, she started getting bigger and bigger and I became more and more uncomfortable which I'm sure she could read and it culminated in a standoff in the tub, haha. I didn't get bit but I got freaked out and decided I wasn't ready to continue to handle her.
Retic's don't make the best first snake!
So I got a grey-banded kingsnake named Gandalf that I absolutely love!
I also just recently got a baby ghost corn named Poe.
And am hoping by Christmas to take the next step and get a larger snake.
I'm having a hard time deciding between a Brazilian Rainbow Boa, a Hog Island Boa, Woma Python, or Bismarck Ringed Python... Thoughts?

Someday I will have my own retic, a purple albino <3

I would go for either the BRB or the Woma, but that is just me

I have a MALE, being the key since they tend to stay a bit smaller than the females, 66% Hog Island Boa.. atleast that's what the guy who sold him to me told me. He is only about a year old. I just recently also got a baby female Brazilian Rainbow... They are both great and don't get "retic big" by any means... Im sure you know this but the only real care difference is that Rainbow Boa will need more care to keep the cage at a higher humidity. I also just got a baby Sunglow boa which is my favorite by far.

Thanks :)
Yeah, there are a couple expos coming up so I think that'll make the decision easier - being able to actually interact with them instead of just buying online.

Although I have my eyes on a breeder's clutch only about 2 hours away from me with beautiful looking BRB's...
