Thanks guys i used The PAM and soaked him in the natural chemisty mite stuff.... U guys should see all of the dead mites at the bottom of his soak!! u guys just helped me solve my mite problems and i THANK YOU!!! any way is it safe for me to fog or mist his tub because he need high humidty so...idk what ill do lol so is it safe for me to mist.
On a different question would it be ok to tape up some of his air whole becasu he has some screen on top for a 40 watt crematc bulb so he can get better heat...but its letting WAY to much humidity out! if so what tape?:hmm:

imo,its best NOT to use tape with snakes
they can get tangled up/stuck to it,and it's hard to un stick the snake, without damaging scales or worse
snakes and sticky tape = bad situations
cheers shaun
....I know this is totally off topic, but it reminded me of a time where a snake got stuck to a glue trap in my ex's garage...after about 2 hours of gentle prying, we were able to get him off and let him go...not even 2 hours later, the neighbors ran it over xD

For future reference vegetable or olive oil can loosen the adhesives coherence.
Really? That's awesome! We were just SUPER careful...it was a little garter snake, and the entire time it was very calm and let us do what we needed to (though it may have been cold or going into shock).

You can use saran wrap to cover some of the screen. It will help hold in the humidity. I have used this method and it works.

I use a sheet of peg board cut to the size of the screen . Then I just cut out holes large enough for the heater and lamps. Still have to mist frequently but humidity seems to last longer .
