New Coastal Carpet.

So a week ago my buddy Shawn gave me his Coastal Carpet for my B-day. We think it might be a cross. We're not sure. Part of why shawn gave it to me is because he got tired of getting bit every other time he handle it. I have handle it six times without a strike. Anyway it mellow as can be for me. Here's a couple pictures. I'll get more up later.

Looking good chuck, I see mostly coastal. Dunno if I see much of anything else. MAYBE a little diamond but I just don't know.

Sometimes (not always) the temperament issue is really a handler issue - which was probably the case with this pretty Carpet here. Nice pickup!

Sweet! I like it! Kind of looks like my jungle coastal mix...but not as yellow. You can def see the coastal in there for sure.

Thank you every body. I have know idea the sex yet. No plans of breeding it just going to be a pet.:)

He/She's a really nice looking carpet! One of the things I love about these guys is how active they are. I've never seen a snake that's as active and curious as carpets are. It's like having a toddler in the house all over again lol :D

Beautiful snake man! Congrats. It is funny how snakes just react negatively to certain people. I think some people get nervous and the snake picks up on the minute tremors and increased heartbeat. Who knows. Glad he is calm for you!

My husband got a hook for our carpet *lol* i've grabbed her up and she hasn't bitten me in ages, once she settled down. It's kind of just the way he is around her...nervous to touch her, and doesn't just reach in and grab her. She knows i won't put up with her biting, so she doesn't bite. But all she has to do is threaten him and he won't touch her *lol*

Anyway, happy belated birthday as well.
