I've heard people using it, but it's questionable. This product is polychrylamide, which is non-toxic. However, because it's an agricultural product there is often acrylamide in it. Acrylamide is a neurotoxin and carcinogen. It also should be kept at room temperature and not allowed to heat up as it can breakdown into acrylamide as a result.

Why not just buy the calcium gutload crystals, I only use about 2 jars a year. It works for roaches too.

When they dry out, pour a little water on the dried out stuff, and it comes right back.

You can also buy the food grade ones from places like Repashy. It's more expensive as they actually eat it, but not in a major way.

Those are a rip off in my opinion.
