Just as easy as your corn snake. Provide 2 hides and keep the temps right and thats it :) sometimes they quit eatingin the winter but its no big deal, come spring they will eat again... if you can handle the corn you can definatly handle a BP...

Ball Pythons are not quite a simple to keep as a cornsnake, although they can still be a great novice snake. So long as they are healthy, captive bred (or in many cases captive hatched as well), and proper husbandry is practiced, there is no worries :) And as Jeff mentioned, it is fairly common for many ball python's to fast during the winter. Good luck convincing your parents, and welcome to ssnakess.com! :bounce:

hi, My first snake was a ball, the only compiication was she did'nt eat for the first 3 monts I had her. Which is normal I would say definatly get one:) . They are great, easy to handle, rarely bite and a small size. Like everyone said if you can keep a corn easily you should not have a problem with a ball. Post some pice when you get him/her:D
