Hi everyone:

I have someone who is looking to give a boa away for free and was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a Columbian boa? These are the pics that were sent to me. I mainly only have bloods but wouldnt mind getting a boa, although I do not have the expertise to say whether this one is in fact a Columbian or not, just thought I would get your opinions.

I know next to nothing about boas, but I believe I saw something similar to that snake here Boa constrictor subspecies | Stöckl - Die Nr.1 Boa constrictor Seite im Internet (http://www.boa-constrictors.com/en/Boa_constrictor_subspecies)

Don't recall exactly which one...

Thanks I will check out that link. I grew up with boa's so know their care, but mainly deal with bloods now and I know next to nothing as far as telling the different types of boas from one another lol

The head makes me think it could have some Argentine boa in it? I don't know too much about boas, so you'll want to wait for the boa experts to find this..

CA X Argentine?

A BCI/BCO hybrid? Possibly. It's impossible to tell exactly what it is.

I like it, I'm one of the outcasts who despises albinos and other various bright morphs.

Okay that's one slick boa. I was thinking Argentine.

At first glance I thought it might have some longtail in it. I'm still not entirely convinced it doesn't.

:D I like albinos but I'm in love with Dark Boas. I'm gonna get some pics of my big female this weekend. She's so dark you gotta look twice to be sure she's not anery.
