I'm getting a juvenile carpet python and wondered if a ReptiFogger would come in handy.

Carpets don't need high humidity so it would be useless.

does depend on your ambient humidity, ours is 55-65% and we dont need to mist our carpets :)

I have a 2 month old baby coastal and I don't need any extra humidity for it. My humidity hovers around 50%-60%. I have cypress mulch as a substrate and that holds moisture well. When I change the water every few days I make sure to spill a little bit on the substrate just to be sure.

A ReptiFogger would probably be a bit too much humidity for a carpet python. I keep mine on aspen and spray once every other day or so. Perfect sheds every time, but I keep them in PVC cages with no screen tops.

my room humidity is 45 to 65

all my carpets shed perfect every time

imo theres NO need to try and raise your humidity in the tank
