New Snake owner here. My snakes has become dull in color and eyes have becme blue. I know this is a sign of shedding but my question is how long after will the shed start and how long will it take after the shed starts for him to finish. Any other shed help would be great thanks

only time will tell. Different snakes, to me, have different shed time. As long as the husbandry is correct, it should all be fine! Continue to offer food as scheduled, fresh water and make sure humidity is at the correct percentage! lets get that perfect shed!

As stated above.

What kind of snake do you have? Lots of helpful advice around if you can provide some details.

Guessing its a carpet in this part of the forum ;)

Ambient humidity in the UK is 55%+ and we consider carpets to have "no humidity requirements" so if you r humidity is around this level leave the snake alone and you should get a nice shed - if it is lower than this then may be worth giving the cage a mist once a day or so until the shed :)

Usually the eyes will clear back up after a week or so and then it can take anywhere from a couple days to a week for the shed. Just be patient and one morning you will wake up with a lovely skin sitting in the enclosure. If you're new to snakes and keeping Morelia, make sure you have some branches for them in the enclosure--they like to climb.
