ive not used any forums before.i have 3 diffrent snakes and have recently bought a 4month old boa constrictor and im a little concerned she has stayed in her water bowl all day and felt very cold to the touch.i was just wondering is this normal.she has eaten .

It would be easier to provide advice if you could give full details of the enclosure, size, temps, humidity, number of hides, size of water bowl and substrate :)

i have read that,some snakes like to go into their water bowl after a feed
re another reason...
it may be mites
mites are little full stop size black dots..... that move around
swab your snakes eyes and nostrils with a WHITE cotton bud,if you see little black dots that move,then squish one between your finger tips,it will smear into a reddish black blob,being that they feed on blood
they are easy to treat.....
i use PROVENT A MITE...
use once mites dead,it's that simple
re temperature
check your temperatures,as another reason for being in the water bowl is,that the tanks too hot
as said some snakes like their bowl after eating
