View Full Version : A pair I've been hiding...

Got these from Tom Reagan not even two weeks before the ban went into effect. The male (hypo het albino) is 4+ ft, the female (pearl) is around 6 ft or so and both are growing like weeds! In 4 months the female has put on over 3 ft in length and went from 1# to 6#... the same growth rate as my male albino I've had for over a year lol. She is going to be one big beautiful snake!! Both are a bit hissy, but calm as can be once out of the cage. On top of that, they are ravenous eaters and have yet to turn down a meal. I couldn't be happier with this pair. Thanks again for these Tom, and though my breeding plans have unfortunately strayed away from burms, I'm hoping they will produce some nice babies for me in 2014.

It's cool you got that albino and a "normal", both look nice.

They are stunning man !

I also have a pearl in the collection and the combo you have there will produce some pretty special babies !

Good luck with them.

Louis.

Thank you, Tom offered me a male pearl for the same price as the het, but I would rather have greater diversity in the resulting clutch. Plus, normals are just as awesome as their more expensive counterparts :)

I have not seen to many people post pics of "normals". I LOVE the normal look so much more than anything else I have seen... Gorgeous!

Actually he is a Hypo het albino, and likely het granite as well (the breaking up of the pattern as it goes toward the tail is indicative of a granite het). Regardless, 1/8 of the babies they produce will be "normals", and I am looking forward to them every bit as much as the ivories and pearls that will likely result from this pairing :D

And thank you very much, I absolutely love these two!

Thanks all, I'm VERY happy with these two, despite the fact that the female has the foulest smelling poo on the planet lol

Two of my favorite Burm morphs that make a third! Pearl is stunning I'm assuming thats what you're shooting for in a few years? I either got bit or urinated on by a pearl, the hypo het did the other. Would love to see pic updates as they grow!
