If the shed is two or three big pieces then its ok. If the shed skin is like flaking off and there is some stuck to the snake after it sheds, then you need to raise the humidity. When I see my snakes are in blue I just spray them every day or two until they shed. This has always resulted in perfect sheds for all my snakes.

you could add a moss box they can climb though , i always mist more when i know they are in shed and don't handle them at all.

Mist extra (I mist once a day when my Carpet is in shed) and don't handle it. It also helps if the snake has a rock, branch, or something to rub against while shedding.

Our "normal" humidity is 60% and we have single piece sheds most of the time, however on occassion he will rip it into two or three big sections during the process.
If yours is similar (large pieces) then i wouldnt worry, if it is flaky and lots of pieces all over the viv then there is an issue :)

What the others said, what's your humidity and does it come off in a few big chunks or a bunch of little flakes?

How big is he? My biggest just doesn't give me 1 full shed no matter how perfect her husbandry is. The longer the snake, the greater the propensity for a break during the shed process.

FYI, I only mist the enclosure, not the snake. Not sure if others mist the snake itself, but just misting the enclosure and not bothering the snake works fine for me. My Carpet gives me full, 1 piece sheds.
