Last year I had 2 clutches of mystery eggs. Not many people knew for sure what was coming from those eggs. Here is a refresher in case you missed it:

I do know that these are from a turtle/tortoise, but that is all I know. I will document them as things develop. Any ideas?

Mystery eggs sound like fun!!! :D

Where do you get the eggs from? How is it that you don't know where they are coming from?

The little worm snake looks awesome, by the way... as are the skinks! Can't wait to see what comes out of the most recent eggs! :D

The clutches last year came from flower beds that were being disturbed having an Invisible Fence pet containment system being installed to keep the dogs out of their flower beds. These came from a friends neighbor who watched the turtle/tortoise dig the hole. He said the turtle/tortoise had white spots on the shell that were glowing in the moonlight.

I can tell you what they are if you want. Or do you want to wait till they hatch to find out?

According to the map, we do not have spotted turtles here. I have never seen nor heard of one here. Not to say there isnt a first. We live about 12 miles from each other, I live in Cabarrus Co, he is in Rowan Co.

If you click on the link right above the pictures i posted it show a map with there range and both towns fall in that area. Plus it shows more pictures of them. I could see how the moon light would make the spot glow at night. Plus it's the only turtle i could find on here that sound close to the description.

Nah, neither of the two counties are in their range. Rowan and Cabarrus are in the white, the turtles are in the shaded area.

Then i am at a lost because non of the other turtles on that site have spots.
We'll just have to wait and see what they are when they hatch. keep us posted.
