Hello from CO!

Well, as some of you know I work inside a petsmart sometime at a satellite location for our shelter. I worked yesterday and was leaving today, when she told me I had to see some new Leos that they got in because she thought of me when she saw them, well I was talking to her and then mention that the sand boa was still there and had been there its whole life... and then told me she would basically give her to me... well, needless to say now I have a KSB who I am completely in love with.

Welcome to the forum!!! As for sexing KSB'S, it looks like yours is a female, but if you can get a shot of the tail and vent area, i'll be able to tell you definitely one way or the other.

Another way to sex KSB'S is if you firmly, but gently, run a finger from the vent to the tip of the tail, you should be able to feel a males Hemipenes basically snap back like a rubber band.


Another way is tail shape-

Top is a female, bottom is a male =)
