She is 2 years old now(well almost) and just as pretty as the day I got her. She has real light coloration that runs up her sides and almost conects in the middle of her back.(not dark on her back like the otherones Ive seen) and man has she went on a growth spirt in the last 5 mos.
Anywho, she ate a 300 day old chick today(yeah I know BIG WHOOP, but she was very stunted when I got her so no where near what she should be) She loved it!
Now a question, how mant of you feed your bloods chickens(chicks)?
PS, pics to come soon!
I have never fed mine chicks since she is feeding great on mice. Also, I am not really sure where to get chicks. But I wanted to know how large your snake is and if next time you feed it a chicken can you get pics? I think that would be an amazing sight.
I have heard that feeding poultry to snakes can increase the chances of salmonella so I will not try that....I feed rats now and perhaps bunnies if she gets big enough.
Not to mention some pretty vicious feces :toilet:

The only reason she got a chicken was because I ran out of f/t large rats. Shes not very big(eats large-jumbo rats) but is was awesome that she took it even though she didnt know what it was. Also, the chickens I get from rodent pro.com come Frozen and salmonella tested. Only the best for my beasts!!! I will say I wont make a habbit of feedng her chickens(normally I rotate my burms and retic with every other meal being chicken, then a rat or rabbit) because I agree 100%...the fesces is TERRIBLE!!! But they love the chickens and dont seem to mind the alternation.
I will most DEFINATELY get pics next time I feed one of my snakes a chicke just for you guys....lol
