Hi all,
i'm fairly new to this forum. I posted originally in the new members and got some good advice. Here is my run-down and question:

Fed Pappa Smurf a week ago today, she ate very well with no problems. I gave her about 3 days to herself to digest. On Wednsday I looked went to check up on her and her eyes were blue, which is a bummer because I love to play with her at least a couple hours a day. I left her alone to shed. I checked up again this morning and she's still the same dullness with blue eyes. I know it hasn't been that long, but she's shed for me about 4 times and every time it was a very quick process (about 4 days from start to finish). She's still hiding and I don't want to break into her home. I'm getting a little impatient because now it will be 1 week without handling her and I don't want her to forget about me or be uncomfortable with handling.

Question: How long does it take for a snake (ball python) to shed. Have I just been lucky with the 4 day shed situation? Again, it only shed for me about 4 times, but i'm not sure if there is a problem. I'm getting worried for my little girl.

Enclosure: 30 gallon tank, mesh top (put damp cloth for humidity as per the recommendations from this site, it is working well). Humidity is at 60-73%, heat is 78 (cold side) - 90 (basking). I turn off the top light at about 90 so that it does not get too hot and make sure the hot side stays between 85-90.

any info would be much appreciated, I hope i'm not over reacting. I just want a happy pet because when she's "normal" and not shedding she's quite affectionate and always gravitates to me. I feel i "owe" her a happy environment and just want to do things right for her.

thank you all

Sometimes they take longer to shed, once her eyes clear up, it should happen within days
