You could give him a few XL rats. I knew a guy who use to gives his Burm 12 XL rats each time. I use guinea pigs, only because rabbits are harder for me to get.

Well I found some feeder pigs for 16.00 and some rabbits for 6.00...not sure how big they are though and each are bigger than the rats and cheaper. So I will get one or the other today

I posted this in your other thread. oops
Rabbits are good lean protein. I've read that guinea pigs and pigs are both very high in fat. I started out with XXXL rats with my Burm when he was about 6'-6" long, then an XXXL rat and a small rabbit. Now he eats one medium (3lb) rabbit every two weeks. It leaves a good sized lump for a couple or three days.

Guinea pigs have a high fat content and the bones are denser and a bit harder to digest. Rabbits are a much better food source for the snake long-term. I pay about $4 each for feeder rabbits (about 5-10lbs) and my Burm gets one every 3-4 weeks.

From the picture the rabbit looks the same size as the snake, so no the rabbit is not to big. May I suggest rabbit stew for dinner. lol

If he eats dead you might want to scent it with some rat guts and blood. Disgusting but it works

I REALLY hope you didn't leave a live Rabbit in with your snake unsupervised at all....
Lol "Rabbit Stew"....well I say give it sometime due to the fact that rabbits are new to him I'm pretty sure he won't go without eating for long I say try guinea pigs and if you see he's breezing through those then rabbits it is until he can go bigger

Usually burms are good eaters. Try scenting the live rabbit in stinky rat scent by rubbing the rat over the rabbit

LMAO But seriously i would never feed a live rabbit to even the most aggressive snake. One kick from them could kill or seriously injure your snake.

He wont take frozen...never has. I only thought is too hold out a few weeks and try a xl frozen rat and see how he does, or feed him a few jumbo rats

Having experience with rabbits I can say that a rabbit that size could fairly easily KILL a burm that big I have seen it happen. I have also seen them lose huge hunks of body and even part of their tail.
