I have heard only good things about them. The only bad thing I heard was that they are really expensive. What a steal that you found them on sale. :)

I have the 48 x 24 x 14 boamster i got on CL for 200$ , it works very well and im pleased with it . It's well built , light enough for me to move myself but im a big guy. i added a pro heat panel pe 3 60 watt and it makes nice warm basking spot of 90 and keeps the rest of the cage at 80 . i also added a flukers UTH 11 x11 " underneath and raised the corners about an inch , and it makes nice belly heat spot under one of the hides. you really dont even need the pro heat if the room is warm enough , belly is enough really. i do run a herpstat 2 on these myself. I did also add a moss box to keep humidity up , and i spray it once every 2 days to keep it at 65% . I'll try to get a pic for you later tonite.

you will need a thermostat to control the UTH , i like the flukers as they stay under 100F anyway and ok'ed for plastics and just taped it to the underside in the corner.

here are some pics of mine , boa is a 4 foot 2010 hog island so not filled out yet. You can see the heat panel on the inside and I use a small led bar light.

the black hides are 2$ tubs i found at walmart , the led bar is a 6 light model by GE that was at walmart for 30$ . it produces no heat , and is very low energy use and its on a 4$ timer that runs from 8am to 8pm .Hog islands like it cooler so the RHP is run by a herpstat2 for 88.5 in the day and 73 at night and UTH is 86 all the time if she wants heat at night , which is the same temps as the island they come from and i adjust the temp and length of day monthly to match the monthly avrgs so there is actually seasons.
i'm using aspen and cypress mixed , and a small moss box to help humidity but im still experimenting . I may switch to corragated cardboard roll and just add a full sized hide box filled with damp sphagnum moss that she can hide in and put it on the cool side. you could use a hydrofarm thermostat which is about 30$ with a UTH if you need to save $ for now but there will be no night drop of temp but thats not critical.
i always have 2 water bowls as you never know if one will get knocked over , one small and one large but i will soon just add 2 small ones and she hates to soak so far. she likes to lay on that fake log in the evening to get warm. I keep everything simple and easy to clean , and in a spare bedroom so there is no traffic. I plan to breed them and i have a male coming Monday so he will go in a tub for a while in quarentine in a different room until i order another cage for him . they have another 2 years before i will breed them , she not big enough or old enough yet.

Looks like a nice setup. I very much like the holes in the front of the plexi.
