Went into the BRB room this morning to do my rounds, check for sheds and see what cages will need cleaning etc. and first thing to meet my eye was a wide open cage door!!

Uh Oh, I was cleaning yesterday and must have not locked the door. Of course it's breeding season and that cage is connected with the left hand one for a breeding trio. Quick check of the left side cage showed both females present and accounted for. Looks like the male was soooo done with them he decided to go on the hunt for more females.
Looking around the room I noticed several items knocked off the top of the adjacent cage stack. Was thinking this could be very difficult to find him. Continuing my cursory examination of the room and found more or less in the opposite corner of the room a tub pushed out of the rack.

And really good news is that's one of the breeder male tubs and was already empty. Not one escapee setting free another!! Gave the tub a little push and immediately met with resistance. Clearly something in the way.

Glad I have a decent length snake hook, made it very easy to pull Ozzy from his new found hiding place and return him to his assigned cage.
All in all, about a 20 minute exercise with a great outcome. ;):);)
