I just saw this on CNN but I'm not sure how old it is. In any case, this jungle carpet python looks like a real sweetie! I hope it finds a good home.

I like the way that they did not over sensationalize the situation.
They pointed out "Non venomous, non aggressive"
Unlike Animal Planet, they would have turned it into a circus story.

I agree they did a decent job with the story. The reporter even had the snake on him.
I adopted a corn snake that was found around here. The television report was hysterical. They said it was an a baby albino python and it bit the toe of some 200 lb kid and even showed a picture of his toe! It was a 4-5 foot snow corn that was as docile as could be!

I saw it on HLN this morning. They mostly showed the snake, which did indeed seem beautiful. No scare tactics involved.

I'd be more concerned about a 200 lb kid than the fact that a cornsnake bit him:sorry:

What if that kid was six foot four and a football linebacker?

Then he should be fine from a little corn snake bite.

Too bad - it's looks like a beauty and so docile. If I was closer I would have adopted it.
