New to snakes in general, new as in...I found a snake on my front door mat, and I need it identified.

I've kept geckos and beardies for years.
I live in beautiful WNC.
I also own a fresh water and salt water aquarium.
Oh yeah, don't forget Gracie, my basset hound.

Nice to hear from all, and hopefully this snake turns out to be something great.
