Hello everyone. This is my first post here and just thought I would introduce myself. Been a snake lover all my life and this is the best forum that I have found on the net.
As a teenager I was really into all the native snakes that were around my home in Georgia and I collected some of all the nonvenomous ones that I could find. And trust me I had just about all of them at one time or another. Never got into the hot snakes as that just didn't go over well with my mother. I'm not that young anymore and live mostly in a motor home now and don't have a good way of keeping a snake so if you don't mind I will join you and enjoy yours here on line.
I've been reading all the different threads here and it seems there are some really knowledgeable people here and that makes for a much better site.
Anyway I hope to be here for awhile and enjoy all your snakes with you.

Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome. I look forward to having a great time here
I've had yellow rat, black racer (very aggressive), corn, green, various other rat snakes, milk, hog nosed and several others that I can't think of at the moment. The hog nosed was by far my favorite as it was so easy to work with. The black racer was so aggressive that I turned him loose after a few weeks, I was afraid he would hurt himself. All he wanted to do was attack everything that got within distance.
