I've looked online and I can't come up with what kind of boa he is. If I can find out what kind I might be interested in it:)red tail boa (http://southjersey.craigslist.org/for/3011190149.html)

Oh and look at all the pics in the link please

Very cool looking tail...don't know what kind, my first guess would be imperator just looking at the saddles, but it's only a (poorly educated) guess. $100 isn't bad.

I'll second this.

Yeah its definetly an imperator but what morph? because it can't be a normal look at the tail.

We call that a wild phase. Its a normal. It has a striped tail and an aberrant patter close to the head but its not a jungle nor a motley.

I googled wild phase boa and I got nothing that looked like this. Does any body think 100 is a good price

Not sure what prices are like in Philly, but where I am, $100 for a very well started, 4 ft RTB ain't bad at all. If I were looking for a boa, I'd certainly consider it.

I thought that too but I thought a morph like that would be a lot more and I still don't even know what morph it is:confused:

Google is horrible, so many mislabeled snakes. As keven said normal with a unique tail. If you're getting him as a pet, go for it.

Imperators are not red tails...

Yeah red tails are true Boa constrictor constrictors.

Because they have reddish tails and they're boas, people automatically think they're red tail boas!
There's a 'red tail ball python' on craiglist near me at the moment.. I wonder if it's a boa.. or a python..

Also, it's was a name giving to the common bci's to make Them sell faster.

People have been breeding and mixing locality boas for years.

The one on craigslist.com does have a nice striped tail, he/she could be a genetic stripe.

I have a true dwarf Nic boa that some would say is a BCC when he is truely a BCI and will never be over 4ft long.

Cool looking boa with a striped tail. Genetic information unavailable so the snake is a cool looking boa with a striped tail...
