Sno-x Snakes

Ok, I looked around and couldn't find an answer elsewhere, maybe I missed it.
I've always had male snakes before, had this rescued female BP for 3 years now. This is new behavior, I understand some of it, but still have questions.
For the last two weeks or so, she has been curling up in a circle, under her water dish, spine outwards, almost belly up, not her normal position. She also seems lumpier. So, I thought, maybe she's finally decided she's old enough to breed. What she's doing matches pictures I've seen of ovulating females.
So, smart person I am, realize that we got a male ball mid-April, maybe she's triggered off him. He's only 9 months, wasn't planning on breeding them yet, if at all.
The question I have, I have been told she won't lay eggs if they don't mate, but will this behavior quit after a while?
