So my Burm has been having some skin issues and Im thinking it might be a sensitivity to the nolvasan I was using to clean his enclosure.
I posted a thread about it and have been doing betadine soaks to make sure the spots don't become infected and to prevent further issues if the spots are a fungal or bacterial infection.
He looks like he's entering shed so my question is whether or not I should continue the soaks after. I ask because he had this issue in february then shed and was unsymptomatic for 6 weeks then the spots came back. I was still using Nolvasan in the interim. I have stopped. But I was thinking that if it is a fungal or bacterial issue, doing the soaks should keep it from returning to the degree he's exhibiting now.
So experienced people, what are your thoughts? :)
