I picked her up last week labeled as a 2010 100% Hog Island female at 50 inches, the shop worker who was a younger kid said it was his but he was moving into corn snake breeding so was letting her go as he was not going to breed her . I traded a Juvi BRB and a biting Juvi hypo bloodred corn for her plus 40$. He had only had her at the shop for 4 days , he says it was 100% Hog Island from the Lemke line but had no proof of this. It doesn't matter to me what she is really , she is easy to handle and very tamed down as he said he handled her often. She moved so fast when its feeding time , never seen a snake move so fast to eat :) but she has not stuck at me at all and is very docile when removed for cleaning.

beautiful Hog. Of course it's impossible to say without full history, but I see nothing to suggest its not a pure hog island, and I would be happy to purchase it as a pure hog

I'm happy with the trade too as the kid was going to use the corn to breed later , that corn was just a mean little guy and i dont know why as he had the best care .
The BRB was being finicky about eating and enclosure maint was more demanding plus he hid 99% of the time . The BRB went to someone who worked there who breeds BRB's so that worked out well.
This girl will show herself a few times a day and much easier to care for . I don't know if I will get into breeding as my intention was just a nice boa who I could handle and looked nice , but time will tell .
Right now she is in a 105 qrt sterlite which is a little small for her, but I'm going to order a 4x2 viv here if i can find one thats not on a 2 month back order.

nice lookin hog!
they are pigs at feeding time so expect a good feeding response but no more than BRBs. great to handle when they know its not food, hope you have fun with your girl!
