Went to a reptile shop to get rats. Took a few pics for you guys...
Some were housed beautifully and perfectly. Others were in bad condition. But that seems to be the case with most reptile shops these days :hmm:

This was probably their best kept animal. It was in a huge natural viv with flowing water and all. It looked great.

Nice pics but I hate seeing that silver phase gonyosoma on carefresh I'm guessing? They need lots of humidity and hides.

To me it looks like the snowflake mulched paper substrate we used before exactly for the purpose of high humidity, though I could be wrong. If it is carefresh then I feel your pain, but the shed skin in the cage next to it makes me think the humidity is alright.

I've never heard of mulched paper substrate but I hope thats what it is. And I missed the little frilled pic the first time I looked at the pics. He looks like he has little man syndrome lol.

That is a black tree monitor! I have them at my pet store. They are awesome. The ones that are at my pets store actually have a good cage and I love watching them run around in there cages. They are really hyper.
