When we got my ball python he had one scale on his head that was lighter than the rest and the breeder said it was just a dry scale and should be fine after his next shed.
Well he hasn't shed yet but he has scales in a spot on his back that look similar to the one on his head, they're lighter in color and and seem almost dented or wrinkled, I noticed one the other day but now there seem to be more. They're only in one spot on his back and he has a second one on his head next to the original.
They're small and hard to notice really but I'll see if I can get some pictures that would show it.
Any idea what's going on?
He stays in tub with 90 on the hot side and about 83 on the cold side, his water is on the hot side a little bit over the heating pad so that the tub has good humidity, I do not have a humidity reader yet, I'm waiting for a paycheck lol
He ate one adult mouse last week's monday but would not eat monday of this week.
He's lively and active as normal for him and currently climbing around on my computer. His water is going down at a normal pace, or at least whats been normal for him so far.
If you need more information don't hesitate to ask!
