Got this awesome clutch from a possible het albino female bred to an anaconda 100% het albino. 14 fertile eggs. Off to a good start for the hogs.

But what is a SIM container? I have never heard about them before. I use vermiculite and so do all the breeders I know.

The SIM container is a product we released in 2009. It is our patent technique of incubating eggs over damp substrate instead of in it. It keeps your eggs safe form over humidification which can kill develping embryos. It pretty much takes all the guess work out of incubation as far as the humidity level goes. No more questioning if your substrate to water ratio is correct. It also prevents moldy conditions. Being that the eggs are suspended over the substrate, the eggs are surrounded by air which increases the eggs oxygen intake and decreases its carbondioxide retention. This allows the embryo to develop faster and more fully before hatching.

It is a tried and tested method and has worked well for every species it has been used on. Most breeders who have used our product will never go back to their old method of placing their eggs in substrate. Some of the best breeders in the world use our container as well as zoos around the world.
