Here is an updated look at the Boaphile cages I got for Kaybe and Pika... they are LOVING it in there.

In case you're curious, Kaybe is on top, Pika on bottom. ;)

Be careful with those plants! Are they plastic? I got some that looked like those for Spot from Petco and I had to remove them because they heated up and started smelling like melting/burning plastic (and all I use is a RHP).

Nice cages though.

LOVE it, it is really making me think about fixing up my cages but my snake will not keep it nice for too long lol.

Those look amazing. I need to get a plant to put in my tank for my corn. His tank looks so boring.

They are very hard to get hold off in the UK and extremely expensive :(

There are a few other brands available at cheaper prices tho - eco-vivs look pretty good value and are what we will be aiming for at some point :)

Cool! Thanks for the read, I really like those!
With regards to the Herpteks, im not a fan of those. We had a lot at the shop I used to work at and they seemed to warp quite a lot.

Very nice!!

What did you use for the glass? Is it glass or is that plexi-glass? I'm looking to do something just like that.

I didn't make them. This is where I bought them from: Plastic Reptile Cages, Tanks and Racks. Snake, arboreal, lizard and turtle light weight custom flexwatt heated enclosures. (http://www.boaphileplastics.com/)

I've been reading a lot of bad reviews about boaphile cages. What's up with that?

Not sure, really. I'm LOVING them, and so are my snakes. They hold heat and humidity beautifully, and they showcase nicely. Some people have issues with the locks rusting on the inside, but that's not the case for me so far. If it were my opinion alone, I'd recommend them wholeheartedly. Then again, I can only speak about that one particular type of cage I got.

The issues I've been reading are more related to the lights and overheating or something like that

Hmm, interesting. I (obviously) have a thermostat and haven't had any problems with under or over heating. It's right where it should be and I haven't had to play with it much at all. I only turn on the lights if I'm taking them out or if I'm showing it to someone. I have them in a room where there is natural light, so it's not totally necessary. I got the lights for aesthetic reasons I guess, lol
