Hi everyone,

Just wanted to make a quick post to introduce myself.

I've long been interested in snakes, however never done more than catch the occasional garter snake. My wife has had a snake phobia for many years which didn't help.

After a lot of discussions & research I ended up with a nice little royal python (normal) a few months ago. To my shock my wife is now more obsessed with it than I am!

A little while later and I now also have a 1.1 dumeril boa pair (beautiful creatures that they are!) and am currently researching what next to acquire.

Anyway, thanks for the great forum!

Thanks everyone, I'm currently burrowed into the Ottawa area.

Unfortunately just found out that the dumeril 1.1 pair I took delivery of this week is actually a 2.0! Working on resolving that, but I'll need to try and find a 0.1 now.

I'll work on pictures. Been giving them their space to settle in. The smaller one took a medium ft rat a couple nights ago. Hit it like it was going out of style. :D the bigger one is a little more difficult but he snuck over and ate a medium ft that I left for him after he didn't show any interest.

Also hooked up a herpstat 2. That is one nice piece of gear! Just waiting on a second 120w rhp and the enclosures will be done.
