Do you think these two would make a good pairing, with all the connected saddles? Is this a recessive trait in BCC?

Definitely.

Right now I am telling you that I want to reserve first or second pick (if you want first pick, after all, they're yours) of the babies.

It would be wrong if you didn't.

I am not 100% sure but I don't think the linked saddles are a recessive trait by the proper definition.
Still good pairing.
I'd guess it's more polygenic then outright recessive, but I don't know boas that well. A new BCC morph would be cool though! What's the lineage on these two?

@ Caylan - The smaller female was produced by a guy named Greg Voyticek out of Las Vegas. That's Ilithiya who came from The Snake Shop, also in Vegas.
The larger male (Need another "Spartacus" character name for him) is also coming from TSS, by way of a breeder from Texas. I haven't learned his name or anything further yet.
They are both '10 editions.
G.P. and Alessia - He** yeah! :freakedout:

That is *far* more extreme of a stripe than I'd have ever imagined! Dud I read that price correctly? $800.00? Was there a "1" before that somewhere?
BarelyBreathing
05-16-12, 10:23 PM
Yes, you read that correctly. $800. And you're talking to the idiot dumb enough to NOT buy him. He was imported and they really didn't know what they had.

Wow. Yeah, I think the one I'm gonna make will have a fourth digit in the price.:freakedout:

I just asked about him on the facebook group Colorado Reptile Connection. It'd be lovely to bring his keeper here for some updates.

Personally I prefer widely spaced well defined saddles, takes away from the Bcc look with the connected saddles to me. So I def wouldn't breed them.
As for the stripe, sorry but *puke*

So I really should have bought that snake. He's apparently dead now because of human error.
