I like the head marking. Kind of looks like there might be a bit of Granite in there.

I don't really like it....

I actually didn't post for fear I was the only one ;)
I think its unique but "no sir, I don't like it":)
I normally don;t post when I'm feeling negative, don;t have something nice to say don;t say anything at all, but this guys is just plain weird for how popular it is... I mean what happened to the pursuit of clean jags ?? Lol I'm just picky, but I prefer my little mite phase jag if I was going for a dirty look :D

I am more than happy for people to comment that they don't like it, I don;t get upset by these things, it would be a very dull place if we all liked everything :)
It's definately a love or hate snake I think. I love it, but I am looking at the potential rather than exactly how it looks now. If that was an adult I am not sure I would like it, but I am very excited to see the colour and pattern changes. :Wow:

I am unsure of how I feel about its looks but I do love the markings on its head.

since we have NO idea of the " complicated genetics " behind this carpet,we have NO CLUE as to how it will look as an adult, but i'd put money on it being very good looking...!!
the genetics behind it will most likely be a " WORLD " first (multipule het's incorperated)
as this snake was bred by,imo the best morelia breeder outside australia, also he has had lots of world firsts in morelia breeding
he has morelia that people in australia are trying to catch up with and is generally thought of as 1 if the top 3 breeders of morelia in europe
as said i think he IS the top morelia man outside australia

Haha! Nah, I'd take a base model over a morph of any species; any time, any day. It's just a fluke that I have a DJJ - we knew each other and she needed me.
I find this mildly interesting, but only in a passing glance kinda way to me. What can I tell ya, I'm a hard-core devotee to the originals - they ain't called Classics for nothing :)

It's....interesting. I'm also not really sure how I feel about it, but it definitely is unusual and I'm curious as to what its genetics are. I honestly am partial to bright yellow and black jags myself.

roll on next year....
i'm thinking there will be that many mutipule traits bred, that you'll be keeping a lot of secrets :hmm:
if you ever want to unload your burden....
feel free to pm me

I'm well aware of Olli and Precision Reptiles, I've worked with a few snakes from them. That said, I look for the potential in jags too, I mean look at Nicks. Everyone thought sib but me and she is passing even my expectations. I just don't see this one colouring up all that well(not for my liking anyway) and I'm more of a colour guy versus pattern. I'm not overly enthused by worlds firsts or multiple genetics either though lol. It's different looking I'll give it that much!

I agree, worlds first can be just as down right ugly as the worlds last LOL

wow so serious
i was joking with you and Todd mate
re coloring up
i'm pretty sure our attention would NOT have been brought to this jag,if it was thought it would turn out some muddied up mongrel (just my opinion)
re nick's jag
i was unaware anyone had questioned it being a jag....
especially taking into account who produced it and the fact theres been plenty banded jags produced to date
re multipule genetics
i'm sorry but imo multipule genetics have done so much, in getting people interested in carpet keeping, imo multipule genetics have produced some of the best looking snakes out there
re world first
i do get enthuised about world firsts, and give credit to those people producing them in the world of morelia,as it gives us a glimpse of what the future holds, not to mention it gives them something to show for years and years of dedicated hard work
cheers shaun:)

but the amount of thought and years of work that goes into them, imo deserves my respect.
i NEVER said ALL world first were beautifull, but imo we do learn a lot from them

Respect is there for breeding something new. I was just saying at this point I don't like it much. There are $5000+ Royal morphs out there that make me wanna puke. Some morphs are just for the sake of being different and not bred because they look great but without them and the people breeding them we may never see some of the possibilities or "new" things like this. A few sheds and I will look again.

No no, strong views are encouraged. My post seemed edgey as I'm rather on edge, but don't mind me. I apologise as well, and I think I may keep my negative opinions to myself again.
