As if I thought I couldn't get more excited about this girl, I went to check on her today and noticed something looked different with her, she has some icy white blueish colored scales showing up on the edges of her light saddles, until now I haven't noticed this. Oh a high def screen it's really easy to see, on my crappy old laptop you can see it but not as good.

She always seems to change her colors a little around 10-15 days after her shed and that is usually how she will look on her next shed, I didn't notice this when I took pics after her last shed but I haven't actually looked yet. Either way this has her looking really cool, I can't wait to see how this progresses. My hopes is that it will spread to more scales as she sheds more, the outline of her light saddles always seemed to be a bright yellow but it seems that that could be changing to this, atleast I hope so.

Anyway I'm curious to hear some thought on this.

Very interesting, I look forward to updates on her. She almost looks like she's starting to show a calico-ness about her... one can only hope eh?

I've never seen the blue scales outside of the tipping, but Sync used to get them when he was around a year old. They just turned into solid yellow tipping scales, rather then slightly black edged. I don't think I have to keep telling you how much I love this snake, I knew I saw potential in it day one!

Thanks all, I'll def get more pics of her on her next shed, I pulled her out for a few minutes yesterday and it looks really noticeable in normal room lighting, either I didn't notice it in the past or it's improving with each shed, I did see it in past pics but just assumed it to be a flash reflection, after seeing her yesterday it's obvious true blue in color, I'll keep everyone update on this.
