Some of you might think of me as kind of stupid for not asking the age from the breeder and not really remembering the name of the breeder that I got him from. But anyway my question is can you guys help me try and guestimate his age. He is about 12 and a half inchs longand not that big around. Here are some pictures of him to try and help. The first 2 pictures are both beside my 12inch long tank.

He couldnt be more than a few months old is my guess.
Cut him in half and count the rings.

You can't really guess age by size due to some right out of the egg being larger than others. My corn was only 7grams at 2 months old.. I know some that weighted 15grams out of the egg.
@ Mykee... lol

Okay then I will probably just kind of make one up because I at least know that he is a coule months. Probably 2-3 months.

I'd say it is less than a year old but older than 3-4 months. They grow a lot early on.

Just make his birthday the day you got him, but yeah, it's hard to tell, mine is still really small.

I would guess 6-12 months but without knowing his birth size or feed schedule we can only guess :)

Looks like he was probably born summer (or a little later) of 2011. My Okeetee I believe is slightly bigger and his birthday is coming up. I'll post a pic soon :)

I wish I knew because later in life I wanted to breed him. I guess if I want to breed I will get another pair. Thats more snakes for me anyway!

breeding has more to do with size than age

^Ok good! I still might just keep this guy as a pet and get a breeding pair though. I don't know his sex either but I am going to get him sexed once I have the money. The breeder said he was a male but he was just using the tail size and was just guessing.

interesting, the breeders have usually at least popped them.
get him sexed when you can then use the corn calculator to find his perfect match
