And let me tell you I was not a happy camper. My normal male BP just shed, just pooped a few days ago and had been patrolling. So I'm thinking he's good to go. Nope. First time, for the year I've had him he's eaten like a champ

Yup. That's just part of being a ball python. Just offer food in about 7-10 days from now and there's no need to worry yet.

Not worried, I honestly think the size of it kind of turned him off. I'm gonna try next week sometime and I'm gonna try smaller. He patrolled after I put him back, so I am almost positive that's what
The good news with it was that my pastel was in shed, but stuck, and the smell of the rat had him cruising and it came off. Definitely a good trick
I found that with my rainbow boa, she wont eat unless its BIG ENOUGH. She was refusing mice for 3 weeks, i grabbed the biggest one I had and she jumped all over it.
*shrug* Who knows. Anyone who says snakes dont have personalities are crazy. :P

Ha.... My burm has no problem on the size, If I had a refused small rat she would scoop it up no problem. Really funny to see such a large snake with such tiny food.
