Hey guys, I've tried googling this but didn't find a good answer. When can I expect 2012 babies to be on the market?

Also while I have your attention, what gender would you recommend as a pet. I know females get bigger typically, but are there any differences personality wise that would make one better than the other for a pet?

You'll find WC animals to be available now, and CBB babies will be available from April to October.
There is no difference in temperment between males and females.
